Day 6:  17 Oct 2006

Day 3 in Seoul Our last day in Seoul!

The weather is still fine though not as cooling as I wished it to be.

We spent the day in Nam Dae Mun Market (南大門市場) and it's quite an interesting market place.

This seems to be a typical market place where people buy their bags, shoes, clothes, seaweed etc.

I like the open environment. However, business will be affected if it is the rainy season.

The nearest subway station from our hotel, Noksapyeong station. We pass by this station every single day.

Plenty of bags (counterfeit products of LV, Coach etc), shoes, clothes, undergarment etc

We went out with a vengence at Nam Dae Mun market and we bought citron tea (柚子茶) and seaweed.

It was quite a challenge walking on the streets of Nam Dae Mun market as the sellers of the counterfeit bags keep

Foreground: Porters for hire. They will carry anything heavy and bulky for a fee.

Background: The old lady (in blue)  is a money changer. They sit around with money and calculator, waiting for customers.

Our last lunch in Seoul --> the evergreen 'Bibimbap'.

Only 5,000 won and like all korean meals, it comes with the kimchi and pickled vegetable

At Incheon Airport waiting for our flight back to Fukuoka. Once we reach Fukuoka, Kyoko and I will part --> I will return to Hotel Floral Inn while Kyoko will ride the express bus back to Sasebo City! Good bye! I'll see you again in Singapore in January next year! ☆
